ABOUT HER:

Natalia Oreiro kick-started her entertainment career at the age of 16 when she moved from Uruguay to Argentina to work in film, television and theatre as an actress and landed the spot as a MTV VJ when she was 18. After landing several TV and film roles and developing her popularity in the latin entertainment world, Natalia signed with BMG and released her first album in 1998 the self titled 'Natalia Oreiro'. The album was successful and after several more film and TV roles she gained popularity outside the latin world with success also in Russia in 2000. Also in 2000, she released her second album Tu Veneno who gained her a Latin Grammy award nomination, and her music performance in Chile at ViƱa del Mar Festival saw her crowned as Queen of that event.

In 2003, Natalia released her third album 'Turmalina' in which she also contributed to as a songwriter. and one of her tracks was selected as the official theme song for Uruguay entry into the world cup.

Since 2003, Natalia has not released any more albums and has instead decided to concentrate on her acting career.
