Aaron Chugg

Tour Manager Artist Manager Live Sound Engineer Music Educator Production Manager

Aaron Chugg was an Australian Tour Manager, Live Sound Engineer and Music Industry Educator. He was also a former band manager for The Screaming Jets.

He has worked for a number of Australian music acts such as Crowded House, Split Enz, The Church, Hoodoo Gurus, Evermore, The Screaming Jets, The Whitlams, Rose Tattoo, Pseudo Echo, Boom Crash Opera, Rockmelons, Alex Lloyd and Shannon Noll. He also appeared in a number of music industry panels and gave lectures to music industry students at some of the the various music industry teaching academies.

In other roles Aaron worked at Grant Thomas Management as their resident tour manager and was the production manager for the Olympic torch relay at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Aaron has also worked as a tour manager in the US and EU, including at SXSW, and also worked at various summer concert festivals in Australia and the EU.

Aaron passed away on the 18th March 2013 in Melbourne as a result of stroke that he suffered whilst working for the The Stone Roses at the Future Music Festival a week before.
