A Music Promoter is essentially a person or organisation that books live music talent to perform and / or stages the performance on behalf of the music artists or outfit.
Music Promoters are also made up of one of the following sub categories:

- Outdoor Music Event Promoters (single events)
- Local Gig/Club/Pub Promoters (Small Firms / Individuals)
- Agency Promoters (Music Booking Agencies / Music Talent Performance Agencies acting also as "Default Promoters" - Clubs, Pubs & Gigs)
