Noteworthy (Definition)

MUSIC INDUSTRAPEDIA DEFINITIONS

Being Noteworthy is to be considered to be officially recognised by the Industrapedia Music Council to be included in a major list such as one of the following sub categories:

  • Global Artist (must also display consistent global success)
  • Major National Artist (within a particular territory)
  • Major Orchestra or Ensemble (within a particular territory)
  • Major Musician (within a particular territory)
  • Professional Classical Musician (within a particular territory)
  • Professional Opera Singer (within a particular territory)
  • Recognised major and 'significant indie' record companies and labels

Approval to being placed on one of the above lists is a subjective process by the Industrapedia Music Council (and its agents and assistants acting on its behalf), but is based on sound judgement and a set on reasons and principles in accordance with the policies of Music Industrapedia.
