ABOUT THEM:

The three musicians Ali Adoum, Aimé Palyo, and Thierry Martial Tsoungui, form the original trio of the Chadian group Tibesti which consolidated with the arrival of other members.

Their music explores the traditional Sahelian rhythms with a preference for Chadian Sai. They are also influenced by music and rhythms such as reggae, rock, salsa and soukouss. In accompaniment, instruments such as balafons, tamtam or flutes enrich the various titles offered to their audience.

Finalist of the 1997 RFI award, the group continues to perform on stage 20 years later and despite the disappearance of one of the members.
