Stephen Housden is an American musician and former lead guitarist for the Australian version of the Little River Band. He became the rights holder of the Little River Band name in 1998 when the remaining Australian member and drummer Derek Pellicci left the band. Stephen Housden created a new version of the original Little River Band entity by recruiting American musicians as new members and basing themselves in the USA. 'Little River Band' from that point onwards could be considered to be the Little River Band (American Version). Stephen played as lead guitarist of the band until 2006. He still operates the Little River Band as its business owner but no longer plays in the band.
