TAGG

MUSIC MEDIA - AUSTRALIA

TAGG was a street press mini mag that covered the Australian music industry that originated in Melbourne and was published by Australian newspaper publisher Mick Pacholli whose background was that he was part of the management and ownership of contemporary and edgy Melbourne newpaper the Toorak Times. To the best of our knowledge TAGG was one of the first street press publications in Australia and was very popular for its Gig Guide and often broke coverage of new music acts ahead of its main competitors - Juke and RAM, who were the two main national music industry newspapers of those times in Australia.
