CATEGORY (B) - MAJOR MUSIC ARTISTS - NATIONAL
Major Music Artists (National) are Music Artists who are significant major or indie recording artists in their own country and who have released at least one album (a mandatory requirement) that is/or was available nationally through major mainstream or major indie retail channels. Major Music Artists (National) are also artists who are yet to achieve (or did not achieve - in the case of defunct artists) consistent global success throughout their careers. All global Music Artists will automatically go into the major music artist category as well so as to proclaim their national identity in their profiles (e.g. The Beatles will be included in the 'Global Major Music Artists' List as well as the 'Major Music Artists - UK' list).
