Moondog Coronation Ball


The Moondog Coronation Ball is said to be the worlds first Rock Concert, which was held in Cleveland on a Friday evening, 21 March 1952. It was organised by local record store owner Leo Mintz and Radio DJ Alan Freed who could also be considered as the worlds first rock concert promoters.
