SOUTHERN CROSS PHILHARMONIA ORCHESTRA

The Southern Cross Philharmonia Orchestra (AKA The SCPO) was a small works chamber orchestra in the early 21st century based in Melbourne and conducted by Gerald Gentry who was also its creative director. The SCPO was renowned for performing rare Australian orchestral works that would normally get unnoticed. They performed regularly at the Melba Hall in Carlton from the mid 2000's to the early 2010's.
