ABOUT THEM:
illustration was a Melbourne Electronic Rock and Synth Pop band that was around from 1983 to 1985. Three of its members (Circus, Morgan & Graham) were in Schism prior to illustration being formed. The band had some key support roles around Melbourne with like minded synth oriented bands (Real Life, Pseudo Echo, Kids in the Kitchen), and enjoyed some popular headline gigs at The Satellite Club (Hosies Hotel - Melbourne CBD) and the Central Club in Richmond (Melbourne). In the early 2000's band demo taped and live desk recordings were digitized and mastered and released as a self titled CD album and distributed independently amongst old fans of the band. The band split in 1984 when Keyboard player Steve Williams went to join Pseudo Echo as a backline touring keyboard player and later on as the replacement keyboard player to Richard Zatorski in Real Life.
